Egyptian Hawawshi

 Egyptian Hawawshi



The ingredients:

1- Half a kilo of minced meat.

2- 6 loaves of bread.

3- 2 medium onions.

4- 2 medium tomatoes.

5- Half a bunch of chopped green parsley.

6- 1 teaspoon vinegar.

7- One green pepper.

8- A small spoon of salt.

9- Quarter tea spoon of black Peper.

10- Quarter tea spoon of Ginger.

11- A tea spoon of cumin.

12- Half a teaspoon of meat spices.

How to prepare:

A) Preparing the filling:

1- Grate the onions and get rid of the excess water, chop the tomatoes into small cubes, and also chop the green pepper.

2- We add vegetables to the minced meat with spices and seasonings in the ingredients.

3- Stir the meat well, put it in the refrigerator, cover it well and leave it overnight.

B) How to prepare Hawawshi:

1- We take the meat out of the refrigerator and prepare the bread, open it, put the filling inside and distribute it well.

2- Re-seal the bread well and brush it with ghee.

3- In a sheet of butter roll the hawawshi and put it in the oven at 180 ° C.
