Egyptian yellow lentils
The
ingredients:
1- Two glasses of lentils.
2- Three cloves of garlic.
3- Onion,
finely chopped.
4- Spoon of
olive oil.
5-
A small amount of salt ,black pepper and ground cumin.
6- Chicken
broth cube.
How to
prepare:
1- Bring a
pot, put a little oil in it, and wait for it to heat up.
2- Add
garlic and onion to the oil and stir them over low heat until both are wilted.
3- Add salt,
cumin and black pepper to the garlic and onions and stir them well.
4-
Add the lentils to the pot with the spices, mix them with them, then leave for
a few minutes.
5- Add water
to the mixture.
6-
Add chicken broth cube.
7- Stir all
the ingredients, cover the pot, and bring to a boil for about a quarter of an
hour until done.
8- Mix the
resulting ingredient in an electric mixer.
9- Pour the
yellow lentils into a plate suitable for serving hot.
